Come experience a full-spectrum approach to embodying the flow of yoga cultivated by Shiva Rea. This unique and transformative training is being presented by practitioners who have decades of teaching experience as well as education in a wide spectrum of teaching modalities. Prana Vinyasa Yoga awakens the intelligence of the body with innovative sequencing that feels natural to our mind/body system and provides participants with a life-enriching experience.

Students are empowered to experience Prana, the universal source of breath, life-energy and conscious intelligence, as the navigating source of yoga practice and vital living. Participants learn classical and innovative approaches to Vinyasa Yoga and the state of flow drawn from Krishnamacharya’s teachings, Tantra, Ayurveda, Bhakti, Somatics and Shiva’s teaching experience from the last 20 years.

  • Embody and teach classical Namaskars + 4
  • Dancing Warrior Namaskars
  • Embody and teach 10 sequences (5 solar + 5 lunar)
  • Learn to integrate the 3 part Vinyasa technique, unique to Prana Vinyasa teachers.

Meet the Trainers

Michelle Nayeli Bouvier is a Prana Vinyasa™ Yoga Teacher Trainer, certified Yoga Therapist, Hoopdance pioneer, AcroYoga teacher, Thai-Yoga bodyworker and dancer devoted to the art and science of embodiment. Michelle’s mission is to bridge somatics, circular movement, and new understandings in anatomy with yoga āsana and the roots of vinyāsa. Michelle is most grateful for one of her teachers, Shiva Rea, who’s approach to living yoga allows for a diversity of perspectives to coexist and evolve alongside our greater collective dance of life. Michelle is a co-creator of Hoop Vinyasa on Yoga Alchemy and co-founder of Movement, Medicine & Magic Retreats, immersive journeys that delve into the overlap of dance, yoga, self-care and personal growth through multidisciplinary movement, lifestyle and meditative practices. With nearly 5000 hours of advanced study, Michelle is currently focused on the Axis Syllabus, Ayurveda, Integral Anatomy, and various styles of primal movement. Michelle has taught full-time since 2000, at local studios, teacher trainings, and events across the country and around the world.

Kelley Doyle is a playful, energetic, and soulful yoga teacher from San Clemente, California who has been living and teaching yoga in California for the past 24 years sharing her love for moving meditation. This passion guides her in an undiluted joyful expression of what yoga is to her. Kelley is the owner of Sierra Shanti Yoga in Bishop, California and has been in continuum with her teacher, sister and friend, Shiva Rea having found her heart in the practice of Prana Vinyasa Flow since 2004 and is currently a teacher trainer and senior assistant at Shiva Sumudra Global School of Living Yoga, offering 200 hour and 300 hour Yoga Alliance approved programs for the school at her studio and other studios around the country. Kelley also offers yoga adventure retreats in the mountains and at beautiful tropical beach destinations around the world.

If work obligations interfere with these time frames we are flexible with the hours, but we need to be informed in advance.

Location Details

This training will be hosted at the Sierra Flow Fitness studio located at 21051 Crystal Falls Drive, Sonora CA 95370.

Accommodation Options

Participants have a variety of options for their stay in Sonora. There are several local hotels as well as AirBnb options for those who will need to travel to get here. As a courtesy to participants to keep costs down, Sierra Flow is offering bunkhouse style accommodations on site. Participants will have access to a large shared room that will include a bathroom (no shower), microwave, coffee pot, and small kitchenette. The room also has central heat and air. We will provide several camping cots, but cannot guarantee one for each person. Please let us know if you are interested in this option.
