About the Trainer
Chris Forster is a local native of Tuolumne County who was raised here and attended Motherlode Christian School, Soulsbyville Elementary and Sonora High. Chris grew up playing a variety of sports including varsity soccer for 2 years, varsity swimming for 4 years at Sonora high school and many years of elite travel soccer for divisions 1, 2 and 3. Chris also developed advanced skiing capabilities and was a ski instructor at Dodge Ridge for multiple seasons.
After deciding on a career path of fitness and sports performance, Chris moved to southern California in 2012 to pursue internships with elite sports training facilities. During his 5 year stay there he worked at multiple training centers mentoring underneath and learning alongside professional athletes and top trainers at Redline Athletics, OC Extreme Training Academy and Lifeletics Baseball Academy.
With multiple years of experience training youth, high school, collegiate, semi-professional and professional athletes, Chris has developed a unique training style focusing on functional movement patterns to generate power and strength. He works on improving speed and lifting mechanics, generating power and strength, increasing speed and agility, and ultimately long term progression of a more seasoned athlete.
